They will absolutely wear differently. 3) Just shoot it, you`ll be fine. I wouldn`t start worrying unless you see a cracked slide, or it stops working all together. The P365 is fully cocked when the slide is racked. The sear drops straight down into the chassis to release the striker. Pretty easy to see when your slide is off the gun. The only time its ever happened with mine was when I was shooting factory reloads of 115 grain ammo. Failed to lock back twice in 100 rounds. Never happened using either 124 or 147 grain ammo so I quit using 115 grain.Milling we'll say $200.00. (give or take) At $600.00 that's more than the initial cost of a P365 to add a Red Dot. So..if you get a P365 for $500.00 and the Red Dot for $600.00 you now have an $1,100.00 P365 setup. Easy process and may take five minutes (plenty of YouTube "how to" videos out there). However, my P365 is an early production model (February 2018) and aside from the dead night sights (which was fixed by Sig), I have yet to have an issue with the gun. I went to the Mec-Gar site and it shows that they are still selling magazines for …The standard P365 will offer the best concealability and you can still use 12-round mags. However the longer frame on the P365 will make for a better shooter. Even with the 12-round extended mag in a std P365 I find I can handle and shoot the P365X better.
